Ameesha - "'Chatur Singh...' would work even 10 years from now"

Ameesha Patel is happy that with Sanjay Dutt starrer 'Chatur Singh Two Star', she would be seen on the big screen again after 'Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic'. However one still can't deny the fact that original plan for 'Chatur Singh...' was to release at least two years ago. Isn't she worried about the delay?

After her Lazy Lamhe act in THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC, Ameesha Patel is back to creating some magic on screen with her Meena Baazaar jig in CHATUR SINGH TWO STAR. Even though the film is arriving after a delay, Ameesha is happy that she has managed to add the Sanjay Dutt starrer to her repertoire, especially after she had decided to go slow during last few years and hadn't signed any new film.

The film was announced in 2007 but it was only in the summer of 2008 that the first schedule of this comic caper was shot. Later, a long schedule was held in Cape Town as a result of which the film was 90% complete in early 2009. Only a couple of songs were left to be shot in India, post which there was plan for the film's release in the summer of 2009.

He is Chatur Singh 2 Star (Sanjay Dutt), an infamous member of the Mumbai Police Department who, in his career, has been most successful at botching up cases and making a fool of himself. In spite of being a disgrace to the team, Chatur Singh has just been handed the biggest case in the department's history and of course, this is the perfect chance for him to prove everyone why he is the best officer they have.
