"Chatur Singh Two Star is 100% complete" - Ajay Chandhok

The film was announced in 2007 but it was only in the summer of 2008 that the first schedule of this comic caper was shot. Later, a long schedule was held in Cape Town as a result of which the film was 90% complete in early 2009. Only a couple of songs were left to be shot in India, post which there was plan for the film's release in the summer of 2009.

Just days back there was news about how Ravi Chopra is being sued by people at 20th Century Fox on the grounds of plagiarism and how Ravi’s under-production film BANDA YEH BINDAAS HAI has many similarities to Fox’s Hollywood movie MY COUSIN VINNY Perhaps taking cue from it, now it seems now many other Hollywood studios are doing the same thing and trying to sabotage many Indian underproduction movies which bear similarities to their films from the west.

The famous Pink Panther series which is now in news for Aishwarya Rai playing a negative role in the latest one – titled Pink Panther has given birth to a Bollywood imitation. It is learnt that Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming film Chatur Singh Two Star will have Sanjay Dutt playing a character based on the ever bumbling but intelligent Inspector Clouseau played by Steve Martin in the comic series.
