Book-smart. Important?
Being book-smart gives you knowledge but you have to be street-smart. Which I am not, although I think I am educated and intelligent.

Performance pressure?
Yes, mom wanted me to be an achiever and I thank her for that. I used to shiver if I came second in class. But that has stood me in good stead. Our education teaches us to mug. I enjoyed my stint in USA for four years in college, where we are encouraged to ask questions.

Dealing with stress
I would go for a walk by the sea side at Marine Drive.

Any advice?
I would tell parents not to over-pressure their children. Don't force them into any vocation. My parents came from business and politics but they supported me when I became an actress. I found my bearing because of them. It's very important to let your child find what he/she is good at.

Educational Qualifications
I am a gold medallist in Economics from the Tufts University in Boston.
