Ameesha dances inspite injury

Mumbai: Ameesha rehearses despite pulled muscle

Ameesha Patel has been attending grueling rehearsals for the last few days leading up to the Stardust Awards but few people including her choreographer Rajiv Surti know about it.

The actress recalls, "I pulled a muscle in my left leg yesterday morning and have been surviving on painkillers since. It was my first day of the rehearsals and I wanted to go all out for it.

I realised I'd hurt myself when after I did one squat and yelled in pain. My trainer rushed over with Relispray and strictly forbade me from working out for the next few days.

When Kanav heard about it he too forbade me to rehearse but I sneaked off to my rehearsals without telling him. It was excruciatingly painful but I haven't got a choice. Work is work."

Rajiv Surti, her choreographer is clueless about her muscle injury. "She hasn't told me anything which just proves what a dedicated performer she is.

Ameesha is performing to all the hits of 2008 including Golmaal Returns, Race and Mein talli ho gayi.

She's very excited about performing to these numbers. Interestingly, the actress was spotted at the Dutt party wearing high heels.
