Amisha Patel brings in the New Year with her bubbly personality, and promises a bag of goodies in the year to come. In conversation with Times Now correspondent Rashma Shetty, she tells us what to expect from her.

Excerpts:

Rashma: So Amisha tell us what is it that you are performing this year?

Amisha: Well there are a whole host of peppy hits of 2008 , there's of course the Honeymoon-- 'Sajna de vari vari', there is of course my hit 'lazy lamhe' that every one is waiting for, there is 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'. And a little walk back in time also with 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' being my first New Year show, I think the audience from Amisha patel are expecting every thing and I want to give them what they want.

Rashma: Post what Mumbai experienced, most actors backed out, so are you representing the spirit of Mumbai that stands through any kind of tragedy ?

Amisha: Definitely, actually me and Country Club had decided not to do the show, but if we had canceled, it would mean that we are allowing the terrorist to defeat are siprit and that's exactly what we didn't want to happen and today, the audience, fans and me, I am working hard spending New Year's eve here when I could be at home or partying, but I am here to lift the spirit of Mumbai, saying that we will still be strong and we will fight back.

Rashma: What does New Year mean to you, any resolutions ?

Amisha: Well everyone says I am too hyper, so I hope I calm down and work harder.

Rashma: Is marriage in the cards because a lot of your male fans would like to know about that ?

Amisha: Well marriage will happen eventually, but not for a while.

Rashma: Everyone is curious to know what is coming from your kitty in 2009 in terms of work ?

Amisha: A host of comedy films, there is 'Chatur Singh Two Star' with Sunjay Dutt, there is 'Run Bhola Run' with Govinda and Tushar and a couple of projects that I am going to start next year. So there is too much of Amisha and too little time for Amisha.
