Winter’s delight: At fashion designer Amrish Kumar’s party, all the guests were delighted about the slight nip in the air. No wonder many came dressed in cotton jackets and knee-high boots.

Strings of fusion: The evening was all about celebrating Amrish’s first album. Music bands, Advaita and Jalebee Cartel, also churned up some fusion and house music.

Love is in the air: Amrish’s girlfriend, Aparna Chandra, was with him throughout the evening. Aparna, who sported a new hairstyle, was all praise for Amrish and said, “I loved his music and yes it is no complicated stuff!”

Acting camera shy: When we asked Ameesha Patel, who was enjoying the do with her boyfriend, Kanav, to pose for the camera, she tried to hide herself behind her purse. But we did manage to click her later (see pics).

Late-latif: A lot of Amrish’s friends came in late to the do because it was a work day. Designer duo Abhishek and Nandita Gupta, Poonam Nath and Manish Arora – all made a late entry. Manish entered and went straight to the bar. It must have been a tiring day for him too, we guess.
