He’s been linked to many women, from Sushmita Sen to Amisha Patel, so Summer of Frost could well stir a hornet’s nest

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, who has dated a series of actresses ever since he stepped into Bollywood, is going to tell it all in a forthcoming book, titled Summer of Frost.

"Yes I am penning a book about the relationships that I had. I would say that the book is semi-autobiographical in nature because I am not going to name any of the characters. Please don't ask me about who the real-life characters are," said Vikram, who is giving finishing touches to the draft and deciding on a publisher.

According to Bhatt, the book should be out on the stands "by the next financial year." But he claims that the contents will be anything but raunchy — he has taken enough precautions to protect the real identities of his girlfriends. "The book is about love.
About how one falls in love and falls out of love. It is also about a catharsis that I went through," Bhatt added.

So does this mean he regrets his penchant for ‘falling in love’ over and over again – it has broken up his family and separated his daughter from him. The reply was instant.

"I am what I am and yes, I don't regret doing anything in my life. I have always been responsible for my relationships and I don't think I neglected anybody. Whoever I have gone out with has enriched my life. I have lived my life like an open book and it will continue to be one," Vikram shot back.

So will the book contain the details of his tumultuous affair with Sushmita Sen? "The book is not about any actor. It's an introspective story about love and life. I have also intend to speak about why love doesn't last," he added.

After Sushmita, it was Amisha Patel who later walked away from him into the arms of Kanav Puri. Vikram has recently been linked to his latest heroine, Adah Sharma.

Curiously, all the women he has dated agree that he is a caring man and there's something in him that's missing in all the men they’ve dated before. So what is that X-factor that attracts some of the beautiful women in the film industry to him? "I really don't know. You will have to ask them. I never detach myself from anybody. Once you fall in love, it's difficult to fall out of it…"
