THE only person to benefit from the debacle Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic was Ameesha Patel. While the films producers, Yash Raj Films and Kunal Kohli, are still fighting over money and other issues, Ameesha — sans her Patel surname — is now basking in the glory of compliments on her sexy avatar in the film. But she isnt getting complacent and is trying hard to maintain the look.

So, the girl has started hitting the gym with a vengeance. These days, she works with not one but two trainers and religiously sticks to a restricted diet to help her maintain that hot body. “I do not suffer from the size- zero mania but just want to maintain my current weight and figure. Both my trainers thankfully dont mind odd hours when I have erratic shooting schedules. I have a healthy diet which will help me in life forever,” says Ameesha before leaving for a two- week shoot in South Africa for Sanjay Dutt- starrer Chatur Singh- Two Star.

The film is a comedy inspired from Pink Panther.

“Once again, I’ll be seen in the role of a sexy diva but still, I will try to be as different as possible. The compliments for Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic have been very overwhelming. Being called superb, hot, stunning — it felt really great. People thought I had lost weight for the lean sexy look in the film but I had always been this way — I just needed the right platform and portrayal perhaps.”

Looks like Ameesha has learnt her lessons, and now knows Bollywood does not take kindly to overweight damsels. Though she is happy to acquire a good figure, somebody must tell her what she needs now is loads of spunk, to acquire the hot tag. She has always been panned for her thanda looks but it looks like Ameesha has started working on that also.
