There’s a lot expectations from the Music of Yash Raj Films and Kunal Kohli productions’ Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, and the expectations are not without reason. In the last 3 years the highest selling album has been ‘Fanaa’ - ‘Chand Sifarish’ and ‘Mere Haath Mein’ were blockbuster hits that are still popular even today. Before that in ‘Hum Tum’ too Kunal Kohli gave us super hit music with ‘Ladki Kyon’, ‘Saanson ko Saanson Mein’ and ‘Mere Dil Vich’.

After Hum Tum and Fanaa, director Kunal Kohli is back with his new film, Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. He clears the air about rumours that his film was inspired from Mary Poppins, Nanny McPhee and Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke.
He talks to Patcy N and gives us a sneak preview into the film.

How did the idea of Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic come into your mind?

Contrary to the popular belief, it is not by watching a DVD of Mary Poppins, Nanny McPhee or Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke.

There is a lot of confusion and buzz surrounding Ameesha Patel's role in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. It has been reported that Ameesha Patel has recreated Sridevi's sexy song, 'Kaante nahi Kat the' from Mr. India in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic.

Kunal Kohli, director of TPTM, tells us, "Ameesha has a full fledged role within her guest appearance in the film. The rumours that she is doing just an item song are not true.

She moved on from Vikram Bhatt rather quickly, and seems happy with her businessman boyfriend

They haven't made it official to the media but it seems Amisha Patel and her Delhi-based businessman boyfriend Kanav Puri are going places. They first made public appearance during the Fashion Week in Delhi and were later seen together on many occasions. We just heard that Amisha and Kanav also went on a foreign tour - they holidayed together in London a couple of weeks ago.

A source from the industry said that Amisha and Kanav are very close to each other and are pretty serious about their relationship.

How did you finalise the title Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic ?
I was looking for a title that spoke not just about the film but also about our lives. The magic in the title doesn’t refer to a magician’s magic but the that which we all need in our lives when things get really tough, when we’re down-andout and when all seems lost.
