Ameesha’s new guy!

Arriving hand-in-hand at a fashion do seems to have become the new way to announce to the world: ‘Hey, I just changed my boyfriend!’ If Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan did that at the last Lakme Fashion Week, it was the turn of Ameesha Patel, once sweet on filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, to walk in with Delhi-based Kanav Puri at the WIFW.

But unlike Saif & Bebo, there was no professing of their love at the do. Instead, Ameesha said she was here with “her good friends” to watch shows.

She may not want to talk about one particular “good friend” but she was all agog to talk about fashion. “It is interesting to see so many Delhi designers under one roof. There is immense talent and each of them is good in his/her own way. Frankly, I don’t have a favourite as such. I like all of them and appreciate their hard work and creative innovations.” Day I of WIFW was surely high on diplomacy for you, Ameesha!
