Amisha’s career revival

With two super hits — Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai and Gadar — at the onset of her career Amisha Patel was seen as the next numero uno in tinsel town. But she couldn’t create the same magic ever. It is believed that she ruined her career by getting involved with director Vikram Bhatt too early in her professional life. In the odd two dozen films that she acted, she was barely noticed in just a handful. With small cameo-like roles in Mangal Pandey and Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, Amisha’s career was believed to be in its inevitable end. But then comes a surprise undoubtedly a very pleasant one for Miss Patel who was planning to be Mrs. Bhatt very soon.

Director Kunal Kohli has confirmed that he has signed Amisha for his new film which will be distributed by Yash Raj Films. The cast includes Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Rishi Kapoor and Amisha, who will play a major role in the film.

We wonder what led to this U-turn in the actress’ life but of course she is not complaining!
