It is not a mere coincidence that Amisha Patel ’s character in this Friday’s release Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. has a strong fixation for pink colour.

Not just in the movie, but in real life as well, pink is Amisha’s favourite colour. But speaking about the film, her character in it is called Pinky and her fixation for pink is almost neurotic.

Throughout the film (except in one scene) Amisha will be seen wearing pink dresses. Even her nail polish, her hair bands and her handbags are pink.

Amisha plays a Punjabi girl who is strongly fascinated by Bollywood movies. Pinky dreams of a very filmi kind of romance with her man (Karan Khanna) and she pays too much attention to her dresses and her hair.

Amisha says her character in the film is a bit comical. In fact, even during the film’s shoot, some humourous incidents happened with Amisha.

In one such incident, while shooting inside a bus, Amisha and her costars found themselves stranded in the vehicle because the camera was blocking the entrance and exit door of the bus. In between two shots, while the other actors were quibbling about how to get out of the bus, Amisha threw inhibitions to the wind and climbed out of the bus through window. This amused other actors and soon they too followed her example.

‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.’ stars Shabana Azmi , Boman Irani , Raima Sen , Kay Kay Menon , Amisha Patel, Karan Khanna , Minissha Lamba , Abhay Deol , Dia Mirza , Ranvir Shorey , Sandhya Mridul and Vikram Chatwal .

The film is a story of six couples on a Honeymoon trip. It is written and directed by Reema Kagti .
